Swim Drill: Kick, Flip and Go!
Today I am demonstrating a great drill that will help you both develop your flip turns and give you a great heart pumping workout. It is a pretty straight forward drill and is perfect for triathletes and swimmers. Place your hands on the wall and kick as hard as you can without breathing for about 5 seconds. Next you will go right into a flip turn, push off and do 7 fast dolphin kicks and 5 break out strokes all without breathing. After doing a few rounds of these, your flip turns will be fast and you will be ready to take a nice long rest! Watch the video below for a brief demonstration of this drill.
