Recently I had the pleasure of talking to Jess and BJ from YogiTriathlete on their podcast. We had an awesome conversation and talked about many different topics from swimming the English Channel to being totally zen while swimming. You can listen to the podcast below. Talking to Jess and BJ was a lot of fun! Hearing about their triathlon and ultra marathon running experiences was incredibly interesting and there were was a great deal of overlap with my journey and experiences. I had a great time being on the podcast. Some of the topics that we discussed include:

  • Making the jump from the pool to open water

  • How to get comfortable with night swimming if you are a triathlete

  • Cold water acclimation and sleeping with bags of ice

  • Removing negative influences and people who don’t support you from your life

  • Saying no to being afraid
